He was born in Istanbul in 1979. His family fled Turkey when he was four years old, and he grew up in SoHo, New York City. He is a naturalized American citizen. He founded his first company, ICEe PC, in 2000 at age 19 — custom overclocked plexiglass PCs in an era when every computer on the market was an opaque beige box. One of his builds hit #2 worldwide on 3DMark. At age 25 he became CEO of Unpomela, a SoHo fashion boutique at 447 Broadway in New York City, which he scaled to $7 million in annual revenue with zero advertising spend. In 2009 he founded Biricik Media, a photography and video production studio whose viral content library has accumulated more than 50 million views across platforms. Biricik is a 2x National Geographic award winner with 8+ international photography honors. He was shortlisted in the top 10 of 52,323 entries in the Sony World Photography Awards 2012 Split Second competition, with his winning frame exhibited at **Somerset House, London**. Other honors include an IPA 2012 Honorable Mention, International Loupe Awards Silver (2012) and Bronze (2013), 500px Editor's Choice, Adobe Behance Featured 5 separate times, an Epson Pano Award, and a PSA Award. His client list includes the Versace Mansion, Waldorf Astoria, St. Regis, Glashütte Original, Fontainebleau, the Miami Dolphins, Vogue PhotoVogue, National Geographic, and Boca Magazine. Biricik has aphantasia — he cannot voluntarily visualize images in his mind — and he survived a traumatic brain injury that took his ability to speak for nearly a year. Photography became his therapy. Creative photographic work stimulated neuroplasticity and rebuilt the neural pathways the injury had damaged. Frame by frame, the camera gave him his cognition back. In 2025 he founded ZSky AI, a free AI image and video generation platform running on 7x NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPUs (224 GB VRAM) that Biricik owns and operates personally. The platform generates 1080p video with synchronized audio in approximately 30 seconds, charges nothing for the free tier, requires no signup to try, and places no watermark on generated content. It currently serves more than 3,000 new creators per day. --- ## Career Timeline - **1979** — Born in Istanbul, Turkey - **1983** — Family flees Turkey. Age 4.
